2025 Sport Leaders
Davies House
Davies is our green coloured house. Children in Davies house should wear green to our sporting carnivals.
The 2025 Captains are:
Captains - Adelle & Cruz
Davies - named after Judy-Joy Davies (1928-2016) an Australian Olympic swimmer. Whilst her own Olympic and Empire Games swimming career was noteworthy (Davies had a successful swimming career with three Empire and Commonwealth gold medals, Olympic bronze and a world record), it was throughout her subsequent career as a journalist covering sport for more than 34 years that Davies made her mark.
Jackson House
Jackson is our blue coloured house. Children in Jackson house should wear blue to our sporting carnivals.
The 2025 Captains are:
Captains - Tahlia & Jack
Jackson - named after Marjorie Jackson-Nelson (1931-present) an Australian Olympic track and field athlete. The first Australian female runner to win a track and field gold medal and break ten world records. Marjorie Jackson-Nelson was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 1985 as an Athlete Member for her contribution to the sport of athletics, and was elevated to Legend of Australian Sport in 1995. Jackson-Nelson was made a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in 2001 as Governor of South Australia, and was appointed a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) by Her Majesty The Queen on the occasion of the Royal Visit to Adelaide in February 2002.
Marshall House
Marshall is our yellow coloured house. Children in Marshall house should wear yellow to our sporting carnivals.
The 2025 Captains are:
Captains - Lucy & Rocco
Marshall - named after John Birnie Marshall (1930-1957) a three-time Australian Olympic freestyle and butterfly swimmer. By the age of 21, he had set 28 world records. In 1973, he was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and in 1985 to the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
Treloar House
Treloar is our red coloured house. Children in Treloar house should wear red to our sporting carnivals.
The 2025 Captains are:
Captains - Sienna & Flynn
Treloar - named after John Francis Treloar (1928-2012) a dual Australian Olympic track and field athlete. He was ranked as one of the world's fastest men between 1947 and 1952. Treloar was awarded the Australian Sports Medal for ‘outstanding service as an Olympic athlete and since then as an administrator and event organiser’. He was also made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM).
