A year at our school

Kindergarten Transition to School 2026

We would like to congratulate our Year 5 students who, over the course of Term 3, visited several of our local preschools to share the joy of reading with the children. These visits were a fantastic opportunity for our Year 5 students to develop leadership, communication, and mentoring skills while fostering a love of books among our future learners. Their enthusiasm, patience, and care have made a positive and lasting impression on our preschool friends — well done, Year 5!

Winner of Stage 1 Port Hacking Public Speaking Competition

Congratulations to Eli K in Stage 1 for winning the Port Hacking Network Public Speaking competition last term. We are very proud of his achievement as he advances to the Grand Final at Georges River College on Tuesday, 18 November 2025. We wish him the best of luck!

Writing Enrichment Author Visit

We were fortunate to have author Mrs Felicity McLean visit our ‘Your Write’ 3-6 Writing HPGE Enrichment group. She inspired our students by sharing valuable insights into storytelling, creative writing, and editing. We thank Mrs McLean for her time, generosity, and for encouraging our students’ passion for writing.

‘By the Sea’ - High Potential & Gifted Education program

Congratulations to the 10 students selected for the Term 3 ‘By the Sea’ High Potential and Gifted Education program. Last Wednesday, they proudly presented their final projects to parents, carers, and the community. Projects ranged from exploring the science of music to creating treats and studying living things. Sebastian and Summer received commendation awards for their outstanding efforts.
